Backup Accelerator Node

High-Speed and Scalable Backup and Restore Solution

Managing shrinking backup windows can impact business productivity. At the same time tape backup, disaster recovery, compliance and archiving requirements must be managed to ensure reliable and fast system recovery in the event of failures or disasters.

The Backup Accelerator delivers performance across four concurrent streams eliminating the cost, complexity, and risk of downtime associated with traditional back-up operations.

Enterprise SAN Tape Integration

The Backup Accelerator provides a highly flexible solution that seamlessly integrates with your current tape infrastructure and your existing backup software and process. It supports both two-way and three-way NDMP to accommodate your specific infrastructure requirements.

Extreme Backup and Restore Performance

Purpose-built to speed the backup process. It integrates seamlessly into your existing Isilon cluster through an InfiniBand connection and provides a dedicated resource for backup, freeing the cluster for production storage needs.

Simple to install and manage

The Backup Accelerator can be seamlessly added to any existing Isilon cluster in 60 seconds or less and integrates with any enterprise IT environment.
