ISILON SYSTEMS ANNOUNCES VERITAS NETBACKUP CERTIFICATION
Isilon IQ Clustered Storage With VERITAS NetBackup for NDMP Provides Customers With Additional Backup and Restore Capabilities
SEATTLE, WA - March 21, 2005Isilon Systems® announced today that it has completed interoperability testing of the Isilon IQ family of clustered storage systems for use with VERITAS NetBackup™ software using the network data management protocol (NDMP). The certification ensures customers will gain added benefit from the combined use of VERITAS' enterprise-class backup software and Isilon's award-winning and fully distributed clustered storage systems. Under the VERITAS Enabled™ Technology Partner Program, products are jointly tested and validated to help customers manage complex, heterogeneous storage environments, ease multi-vendor implementations and reduce costs through improved storage utilization and management.
